80% Cabernet Franc, 18% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot

The base for our 2015 Cabernet Franc is from the Shenandoah Vineyard site, which is typically cooler than our other sites offering a bright acidity and more red fruit characteristics.  It is complemented by Petit Verdot to offer color as well as darker tannins to lengthen the finish. Aged in French & Hungarian oak, 10% new, 90% neutral. Ripe red cherry, black plum, and hazelnut notes on the palate with elegant tannins and subtle toasty notes to round out the finish.
