Winermaker's Notes: 2022 was a hot and wet vintage that settled down by September, when we had almost ideal veraison (ripening) conditions. This wine is blended in Médoc (Left Bank Bordeaux) style with Cabernet Sauvignon being dominant and Cabernet Franc having a substantial role in the blend.

Impressions: The 2022 Ashby Gap presents an inviting aroma with herbaceous cedar notes, complemented by the rich bramble berry nuances of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This medium-bodied wine is approachable and features subtle hints of oak and vanilla.
