Aging: Fermented & Aged in Stainless Steel
Residual Sugar: 0.9%
Winemaker's Notes: This wine pays homage to the Alsace wine region of France whose wines embrace an upfront fruit and floral character. Traminette is an early ripening variety and it provides the floral character of this wine. The Sunset Hills Vineyard site produces a restrained Traminette. Vidal Blanc, however, is a late ripening white variety that can require an October harvest to tame its acidity. This variety is often bottled with residual sugar to balance its natural acidity.
Impressions: The nose boasts scents of lychee, white peach, and white blossom. On the palate, there is a delightful combination of melon and peach that leaves a lasting impression. This blend is a harmonious integration of fruit and floral character against a smooth and focused palate.
